Standard State Application
Information and forms are provided online as an aid to understanding and expediting the application for state-aided housing. All applications and verifying documentation must be submitted by mail or in person to the Wellesley Housing Authority, 109 Barton Road, Wellesley, MA 02481. In order to apply for housing, an applicant need only submit to the WHA a completed standard State application packet with required documentation. has finished saving to your computer you can go to your desktop and open and/or print the application.) Emergency Application for Housing However, if, after carefully reviewing the information provided on the Department of Housing and Community Development’s (DHCD) web page for Emergency Applications (click on link www.mass.gov/dhcd/phra/ph/hm/emergapp.htm), you find that it is applicable to your circumstances, you may download and complete the form from DHCD’s website and submit it to the Wellesley Housing Authority in addition to your standard application packet. The Emergency Application form may also be submitted after a standard application is filed with the Authority.
Completion and submission of an Emergency Application does not mean immediate housing but only that the application may be granted a priority status on the waiting list. Most likely, there will still be a lengthy wait for public housing or rental subsidy and applicants should continue to apply elsewhere.
