In order to determine the usage for a specific appliance you must look at the wattage the appliance uses. Many manufactures include this information on the appliance and in the instruction manual. Once you have the wattage of the appliance by the monthly hours of use, then divide by 1,000 and multiply the total kilowatt hours (kWh) by the cost of the electricity. Currently, Wellesley residents pay .10602 per kWh. |
