MEETING MINUTES
July 1, 2008
Attendees: Denny Nackoney, Len Poitras, Peter Rovick, Miguel Lessing, Diane Hall, Bob White
The Fall Walks/Kid Day Schedule has been established. Miguel will communicate the details. Let him know if you can lead a walk.
We have three work projects scheduled; Thursday, July 10th at Centennial, Saturday July 19th at Babson and Saturday August 23rd at Centennial. The start time for each event will be 8:00 am.
I attended the Needham Traffic Advisory Committee meeting in June. They are evaluating our request for a crosswalk at where the Sudbury crosses Great Plain.
We voted unanimously not to increase the number of doggie bag dispensers that we support. We will continue to refill the dispensers at Kelley Field, Centennial and State St. I have notified Janet Bowser of our vote.
The Community Service project list was updated. I will forward it to the Scout leaders.
I have notified Janet Bowser that the Nature Walk posts in Centennial and Longfellow are in very bad shape.
The FY08 Project list was completed. I will use the list to prepare the Trails section of the Town's Annual Report.
Terry Connolly will evaluate the usage of the Virtual Town Hall website and decide if we can get our own dedicated site. We are currently sharing access with the NRC.
I will contact the DPW about installing "Pick Up After Your Dog" sign at Fairbanks.
The next meeting will be Tuesday August 26th at 7:30.
