Give the Gift of Recreation This Holiday Season
As families across Wellesley open gifts this holiday season the Wellesley Recreation Department wants you to give the gift of Recreation. Ski lessons are the perfect match for that new pair of skis for Johnny or hip hop dance lessons to go with Suzy’s new iPod. A cooking class will go with Mom’s new set of baking dishes and Dad will be pumped to know that his boyhood dream is coming true when he rocks out with those guitar lessons you gave him. Did you give grandpa his first digital camera? He will be thrilled to know that he is also taking a digital photography class to learn how to use it! Don’t forget grandma! She will be feeling great after her senior and healing yoga class! Husband’s young and old can’t go wrong with couples dance classes for their wives. They will feel like they are on Dancing with the
Stars! This season you can sign up your family or friends for a Wellesley Recreation program and then print out a beautiful gift certificate to be wrapped up and given to that special someone.
There are so many classes that would make perfect holiday gifts. Online registration for Winter 2009 Recreation Programs begins December 9th at 7:00 am for Wellesley residents. You can call in or come in to register on December 10th at 8:30 am for Wellesley residents. Non-Residents may register online on December 12 at 7:00 am or by phone or in person on December 15th at 8:30 am.
STEPS TO GIVE THE GIFT OF RECREATION
1. Register the person for their class or program.
2. Print out the gift certificate here.
3.Write the Receipt # of the transaction for the class you are giving onto the gift certificate.
You can find the Receipt # at the top of the receipt you receive when you pay for the class.
4. Wrap the gift certificate up and give it to someone special!
