The so-called noise bylaw passed by the 2009 Annual Town Meeting, is now in effect. The bylaw restricts the use of certain outdoor commercial equipment to the hours of 7am - 7 pm Monday through Friday; 8 am - 7 pm Saturdays and state observed holidays; and prohibits this activity on Sundays. Please see the town bylaw at Article 49.34 for exact language. Enforcement will be via civil citations and can carry a fine of up to $50.
